Our achievements

First traders' meeting : "Trade and Hygiene"

Presentation :

All the traders from Saint-Josse’s three commercial hubs (Madou, Botanique and Rogier) are invited to attend the first traders' meeting organised by the Saint-Josse Atrium at the Jazz Station on the subject of "Trade and Hygiene". 

Objectives :

• Meeting: meeting the traders, giving them an opportunity to meet each other and join forces around an initiative.
• Discovery: traders are often absorbed in their work and have little time to get to know the area where they work. This initial meeting will be a chance for them to discover the Jazz Station.
• Discussion: to educate the traders as regards hygiene, to inform them about the legal requirements and to introduce them to the regional agency « Bruxelles Propreté » [Brussels Hygiene] and the fuchsia bag project.

Target group(s) :

All the shopping areas in Saint-Josse: Madou, Botanique and Rogier.

• Invitation sent to all traders
• Press release
• A traders' newspaper published afterwards featuring useful information of relevance to the traders and distributed to all traders
• A jazz group provided the evening’s entertainment and promoted the Jazz Station
