Place Houwaert Summer Events
Presentation :
In response to a request from the Board of Directors of the Saint-Josse Atrium branch, the branch organised the "Place Houwaert Summer Events" with a view to re-energising the shopping area.
Fetes were held on the second Wednesdays of July, August and September from noon to 6.00 pm in Place Houwaert. Traders were invited to be present as far as was possible and depending on the number of businesses taking part. A concert paid for by the traders association was responsible for enlivening the event.
Objectives :
To promote the commercial development of Place Houwaert through the staging of three summer events.
Target group(s) :
- Businesses located in Place Houwaert,
- Regular customers in Place Houwaert and the environs.
Date and location :
Place Houwaert on Wednesdays July 12, August 9 and September 13, 2006.
Partnerships mobilised :
- The Place Houwaert traders' association,
- Participating businesses.
Advertising and distribution :
- Posters announcing the event were distributed to traders,
- A leaflet was put in every letter box informing local residents,
- A press release was created.
